I have been watching the pear tree at the back of our garden for a couple of weeks now. I have been waiting for that moment when the bare branches get a light green hue on their tips. Then I watched slowly as the green showed signs of white; white, little flowers.
Until the wait was over.
Today our humble, back garden pear tree returned to the world of the living! It hummed with the music of tens of tiny little musicians and it buzzed with the eagerness of the same.
The pear tree is no longer a lone fruit tree, but a matched pair with the most prolific pollinator, the honey bee. What a beautiful relationship the two have…
They have brought the song of spring home. 🎶
