Shrewsbury Flower Show

Hey, this is a show I never thought I would be visiting, but there I was! There were some amazing crafts, huge vegetables, perfect flowers and ordinary, garden items creatively organised to form hedgehogs and ducks and all sorts.

I was there as a volunteer, to support a small charity with big dreams. I was there to help promote Bees Abroad: a team of experienced beekeepers teaching families in poverty-stricken areas to keep bees and, through bees, empower them to make their own living.

  1. I am finding all this interesting and more so that the awareness of how important Bees are is spreading abroad, for example through the work of this Charity and possibly manyothers like it, to areas where people could really benefit themselves and their environment by keeping bees or looking after them by making sure there are flowers out there for them to flourish ! Wonderful display of Honey 🙂
